The team at Gunnedah Workshop Enterprises (GWE) recently toured the GBP Cranes facility in Gunnedah.
GWE support staff Sam Sims said the remarkable visit not only shed light on the evolution of a small business into a thriving enterprise but also exemplified the power of community collaboration.
“The visit gave us a unique opportunity to see first-hand the growth and transformation of this local business into an industry leader,” Mr Sims said.
“The highlight of our visit was the tour of the new work yard, where impressive large cranes stood as a testament to the company’s accomplishments.
“The team at GBP Cranes warmly welcomed us and generously shared insights into their journey from humble beginnings to becoming a significant player in the business landscape.
“Seeing the expansive work yard and the array of formidable cranes was awe-inspiring. As if the experience wasn’t enriching enough, the GBP Cranes team went above and beyond by hosting a barbecue lunch.”
Mr Sims said GBP Cranes is a great example of business success in the Gunnedah community.
“What struck us most during this visit was the story of the growth of GBP Cranes and its dedication to the community,” he said.
“A once small business has blossomed into a prominent entity, providing employment opportunities for more than 60 individuals. This is a testament to the entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to success that characterises our local businesses.
“This visit emphasised the strong bonds that tie our community together, underscoring the importance of collaboration and support between organisations like Gunnedah Workshop Enterprises and GBP Cranes. Such interactions not only foster understanding but also contribute to the growth and prosperity of our town.”
