Rainy weather did not damper the Christmas spirit at the Gunnedah MS Incorporated Christmas Fair. Outside Griffith Hall were offerings of sausage sizzles and hot coffees to warm up marketers before a morning of local shopping. Children were delighted when Santa made an appearance mid morning to gift them a small present.
A large crowd was on hand to support Boggabri Joey’s Playgroup at the Hassab’s annual in-house fashion parade. Former Gunnedah residents Yvette and Peter Hugill have put 18 months of hard work into their joint exhibition ‘From The Ground Up’ at the Manning Regional Gallery in Taree. The opening on Sunday, October 22 at 2pm was overwhelmingly supported by a large crowd, which was much appreciated by the couple who came to Gunnedah in the 1970s to establish their business Hugill’s Engineering.
