‘Songbirds’ to play Piallaway this Sunday

The Gunnedah Conservatorium is starting the school holidays with a performance by Amy Vee and Anna Weatherup at Piallaway Hall on Sunday. “We hope people will pop in the car and join us for a great day out…our village halls are special little hubs and Piallaway is one of the best,” Gunnedah Consevatorium director Rebecca Ryan said. “We are excited to be partnering with the hall progress association on this event. Bringing Bullawa Creek to Gunnedah’s gallery walls

The State Conservation Area of Bullawa Creek, between Mt Kaputar National Park and the Pilliga Forest, has inspired artworks that will bring the bush into the Gunnedah Bicentennial Creative Arts Gallery from Friday, April 11. Mixed media artist Lisa Marple has used her time spent at Bullawa Creek to create an exhibition called #Bullawa Creek Love supported by Arts North West.
