The committee of the Gunnedah Centre of Riding for the Disabled wish to clarify that the comment made by Cr M O’Keefe at the recent meeting of Gunnedah Shire Council, as reported in the Gunnedah Times on November 23, is inaccurate.

It can be assured that RDA (NSW), of which the Gunnedah centre is a member, is a registered ‘not for profit organisation’. We do not have ‘community and corporate partners’ as the councillor mistakenly reported to council. We are run solely by volunteers relying entirely on donations and support from this wonderful community of which we are eternally appreciative.
