Two university students from Gunnedah are among the first to receive assistance under the Stuart Grosser GBP Cranes education scholarships.

Chloe Williams and Angel Phillips are both enrolled to study Bachelor of Nursing at the University of New England this year.

The scholarships are named in tribute of the late Stuart Grosser – the former GBP Cranes managing director who died suddenly last month.

The scholarship was recently established by GBP Cranes to expand its financial support to local community charities and tertiary education students from Gunnedah.

More than $7000 was raised for the initial donation – funded by the hire of GBP’s training room to local business partners.
