The perfect gift for a sentimental person is an ode to memories. Luckily, a massive printer has arrived at Fogarty Fotos so a giftee’s favourite photos can be printed up to 60 inches in size.
Even better, access to this printer means Heather Fogarty can now print large sizes on demand. If it is ordered in the morning, it will likely be done by the afternoon – perfect for last minute gifting.
“Everyone loves their memories and grandparents just live for photos. It is the perfect gift for a grandparent,” Heather said.
She takes pride in listening to every customer and suggesting options to make the gift even more personal.
“A customer might come in for a frame that says, ‘love you nanna’ on it … why not get a handprint of a little person and write ‘I love you nanna’ on the photo? Then it really is personal.”
Fogarty Fotos can craft a perfect montage if one photo is not going to cut it.
Customers can complete the gift by choosing from the wide variety of frames in store. Most are Australian-made of different styles and sizes, or the team can assist in customising the perfect frame to be ordered and ready in a few short weeks.

Shoppers are also supporting other locals by printing at Fogarty Fotos this Christmas.
“John Sturgess from Gunnedah Newsagency has bent over backward to get the paper that I wanted and he has been able to secure that for me now,” Heather said.
“He has been amazing.
“That is the thing about shopping local. Staff understand what your business is about and how they can help.
“Big places, they do not understand what is happening here on the ground.”
Fogarty Fotos can do more than just print a picture. Memories can be transferred onto fabric, mugs, decals, metal art, canvas, drink bottles and more.
The business also offers a text to print service. Customers simply text 0427 829 521 with the photo, size and the number of copies.
Heather said this is great for people who are travelling, as they can send the text the night before and pick it up as they drive through town.
“I treat everyone’s photos individually, so I do not have kiosks here,” Heather said.
“I look at everyone’s photos and make them the best they possibly
can be.
“That is what we are all about here – personal services.”
