A much loved Christmas tradition will be back this Saturday with the Gunnedah MS Christmas Fair.

The Griffiths Pavillion’s doors will open at 8am, with a very special guest in a red suit making an appearance at about 10.30 am.

Those who choose to shop at the fair will not only help out Gunnedah MS Incorporated but also other community organisations.

“A lot of the stall holders are local community groups such as the CWA, Red Cross, Gunnedah Hospital Auxiliary, as well as local-based business stalls,” Gunnedah MS Incorporated committee member Rhonda Smith said.

“This is one of the community groups fundraisers as well, so they can give back to the community.”

Included this year are lots of Christmas goodies such as homemade cakes, slices, sweets, jams, earrings, beaded keyrings, hand crafted books, cards, diaries, doll clothes, dog coats, signs, soaps, artwork tumblers, cups, wood worked items, pens, plants and even Isa Brown Pullets and Australorp Cross chickens.

There is plenty for children to love with biscuit decorating, fairy floss, a jumping castle and a merry-go-round while adults will especially enjoy the barbecue feed, coffee van and morning tea.
