About 1.30am on Saturday, November 23, it is alleged a 39-year-old Gunnedah woman attended a Jaeger Avenue, Gunnedah, address with two other people. The woman has yelled at the occupant of a house to come outside to fight before kicking and damaging a front screen door before arming herself with a large metal pipe and throwing it towards the house and soon after damaging an external light. The woman has then left in a black motor vehicle with the two other persons. About 12.42am on Sunday, November 24, it is alleged a different 39-year-old woman attended the same location, calling out the occupant of the same house and wanting to fight. It is then alleged a male relative of the occupant has arrived nearby and the 39-year-old woman has commenced yelling and threatening this male. A small group of people began arriving and the 39-year-old left soon after.About 4.10am, police attended an address in Wandobah Road and arrested both women. They were taken to Gunnedah Police Station and subsequently charged.
The first 39-year-old was charged with affray and malicious damage and granted conditional bail to appear at Gunnedah Local Court on January 7, 2025. The second 39-year-old was charged with affray and offensive conduct. She also was granted conditional bail to appear at Gunnedah Local Court on January 7.

Bike stolen
Between 10pm on Saturday, November 23 and 7.45am on Sunday, November 24, a black and orange KTM off road motorcycle was stolen from 12 Herbert Street, Gunnedah. Police are appealing for any residents who may have information about this theft to contact Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000.
Suspicious fire
About 10pm on Saturday, November 23 police and Fire and Rescue NSW attended a car fire on the Oxley Highway near Blackjack Road, Gunnedah. The following day the owner was spoken with who revealed the vehicle had broken down the night before. Although the vehicle was not stolen, the fire is regarded as suspicious and police are asking in motorists who may have dashcam footage of the vehicle between 8pm and 10pm last Saturday to provide that footage to police.
