Gunnedah Conservatorium last weekend hosted the Christmas-themed musical ‘Has Anybody Seen Santa?’

Presented by the conservatorium’s Junior Musical Theatre Group, the local production centred around a heartwarming and hilarious holiday adventure to find Santa Claus.

The merry mystery featured detective duo, Dan ‘B’ Nosey and Minnie ‘The Snoop’, played by Georgia Hobson and Emily Meura.

Helping the super sleuths on the case were ‘The Jolly Bells’ of Jingle (Annabelle Goldrick), Tingle (Archer Delamotte) and Kevin (Thomas Meura), ‘The Christmas Trees’ featuring Fir (Isaac Hall), Pine (Lachlan Stone) Spruce (Jade Cooper) and Bert (Dougie Watson).

Also in the mix were ‘The Presents’ including The Shiny Present (Patience Melhuish), The Big Present (Pheobe Dowling), The Voucher (Elsie Groves), Oh, No! Not Socks (Annabelle Mitchell) and Lucy Turner.

Of course, no Christmas production would be complete without ‘The Santas’ which went by the names of Shaun (Elsie Walshe), Adam (Katrina Martin), Neil (Darcy Thomson), Tess (Audrey Walshe), Ashleigh (Lily Tibbett) and Harrison Blackwell.

The performance was directed by Meg Clowes and Dominic Goodwin-Hauck, with the costumes by Meg Clowes, Jenny Furner and Renata Davidson, sound and lighting by Ryan Wallace, Danny Hankinson and Gunnedah Shire Council Cultural Precinct staff added to the production, with ticketing and promotion by Jenny Furner.
