Elaine and Kel Archibald from Gunnedah spent an enjoyable weekend earlier this month joining the celebration of Kel’s aunt Hazel Rose on reaching her 100th birthday.
More than 80 guests including family and friends were gathered in the club Rose Function Room at the Macquarie Club in Argenton, Newcastle, for the occasion.
Hazel received many congratulations from the various levels of government including the Governor General of Australia Samantha Mostyn and the King and Queen, Charles and Camilla.
Hazel keeps relatively good health barring some arthritis and the use of a walker so she was on the go for five hours during the function.
Kel took the photo opportunity to line up his family – covering five generations – with Aunt Hazel.
