Gunnedah Day VIEW Club members welcomed principal solicitor Kelly Warren from WA Baxter and Co to their recent luncheon meeting.

Kelly presented an enlightening overview of wills, Power of Attorney and Enduring Guardianship, which had members very attentive.

VIEW National Councillor Aletia Norman was also a guest after recently attending from a team leadership meeting in Sydney, where it had been revealed that VIEW Clubs are now supporting 1800 disadvantaged students through The Smith Family charity’s Learning for Life program.

President Joan Harwood said the club is growing each year with four new members and another coming for the first time and signing up on the day.

“We have one supporter who is not a member but has asked to donate each month to help with our student sponsorship,” Joan said.

“We are now sponsoring four students so this is very much appreciated.

“It was agreed by members that as we have some crocheted rugs in reserve, we should donate them to schools to be given to students.”
