Spotlight: Public and School Holidays

Once again, we had a successful school holiday programme. Thank you all for joining us at our storytime and craft sessions. If you missed out, don’t worry—we’re already working on our winter programme!

Don’t forget that we’re closed tomorrow for Anzac Day, but we’re open on Saturday from 9.30am – 1pm and back to business as usual on Monday, 28 April.

Spotlight: Computers and IT

Do computers and phones leave you feeling bamboozled? Our tech section may help! We have books on iPhones, navigating Windows, understanding AI and coding, plus many other complex conundrums.

Our local Community College also holds the occasional tech help class free of charge. The Gunnedah library has all the supplementary study materials you could ever need!

Spotlight: New books

The author draws on her decades of experience to create over 100 delicious, nutritious, plant-based recipes and healing home remedies from 30 of the world’s most common edible wild plants, from cat’s ear to cobbler’s pegs, dandelion to dock, and nasturtium to wild raspberry.

A Five-letter Word For Love (AFR JAM) by Amy James is new to romance.

Emily isn’t happy with her life as an auto shop receptionist, but she does have a 300+ day streak on the New York Times Wordle. One day, with only one guess left and no clue what the answer is, she’s forced to turn to one of her irritating, car-obsessed coworkers, John, for help—and in doing so, realises that he might not be so irritating after all…
