David Amos has said his last goodbyes at Gunnedah Veterinary Hospital.
The veterinarian handed over keys to the business three years ago and has been helping with the transition under new ownership of Chelsea Mitchell.
This week David and his wife Marg were given their final farewell, complete with celebratory cake.
The couple is planning more travel and family time in the months and years ahead.
