Forty-eight golfers including 24 from Gunnedah took part in last Sunday’s ladies open day at the Gunnedah Golf Club.
Visitors came from Boggabri, Narrabri, Quirindi, Tamworth, Longyard, Werris Creek and Coonabarabran as the event involved raising funds for CanAssist Gunnedah.
As of Wednesday, the tally stood at $762.
Winners of the 4BBB Stableford event were Gunnedah duo Mandy Gavin and Penny Crawford with 43 points on a countback from Werris Creek duo Jann Moore and Jenny Fisher.
Winners of the Scratch event were Gunnedah duo Michelle Johnston and Jane McWhirter with 26 points, while the runners-up were the Tamworth pairing of Nellie Dunst and Evelyn Parnell with 23.
NTP winners were Lorraine McCann on the 2nd hole, Evelyn Parnell on the 7th, Michelle Johnston on the 12th and Emily Flood on the 16th.
