Mother’s Day celebration

Gunnedah Family Support's multicultural playgroup celebrated Mother's Day at Sugar Gums Family and Children's Centre. Young participants created footprint artworks for their mothers, grandmothers, friends and aunties as a special gift. Children were accompanied by mothers, fathers, grandparents and carers on the day and treated to the playgroup's weekly fruit platter. As always, the group learnt more about each other's culture through stories, cooking, dance and crafts.
