An extended run of warm nights across the Gunnedah district recently had many lapping up the last remnants of summer and autumn.
Rain showers last week also brought early morning fog to some parts of the region.

Despite Gunnedah’s average minimum temperature for May being 5.6 degrees, last Friday’s temperature didn’t fall below 15 degrees.
A cool change which swept through early this week showed winter is on its way as Sunday’s overnight temperature dropped to just 3.8 degrees – one of the coolest this month.
