The energetic sounds of the Hot Potato Band could be heard from around Gunnedah earlier this month.

From preschool performances and school workshops to a community concert, the town was bopping to its unique sound.

It comes off the back of the band stopping by in October last year, providing the area with a fresh take on brass music.

Feedback given to the Gunnedah Conservatorium made clear people were eager to see its performance again.

With the energetic and young music promised by the brass band, the Gunnedah Shire Band Hall was the perfect place to host its community concert.

The numbers did not disappoint, with the Gunnedah Conservatorium selling out the 200 tickets on offer.
