Gunnedah West Rotary Club is running its second toiletries drive for men and boys. This is in response to a need in the community from men who find themselves homeless, couch surfing or simply down on their luck.

The first highly successful drive was held in October 2023. Thanks to support given by the community, Gunnedah West Rotary was able to supply a range of toiletries and basic items to Gunnedah Family Support and the PCYC for distribution as required. Sleeping bags and air mattresses also helped to make a difference for men.

Woolworths, Coles and K Hub have all jumped on board to get it started. They have made generous donations and allowed space for the collection hubs. Shampoo, body wash, deodorant, underwear and towels are some of the main items required.

Gunnedah West Rotary is most grateful for all support given to this project. Club members are hoping to have hundreds of items to pass on to the appropriate agencies once again.

People are asked to please leave donations in the tubs at Woolworths, Coles, K Hub or Gunnedah Railway Station.
