Gunnedah gymnasts won every division while the Gunnedah Gymnastics Centre hosted clubs from the North West region for a competition spanning Levels 3 to 7 last Saturday.
Level 4 gymnast Lily Griffith was named the highest point scorer with a total of 38.175 in the first session, while Level 5 gymnast Kate Randall tallied 37.475 in session two.
Junior gymnasts competed in a banded competition, with Level 3 locals Ashley Ross, Elodie Warren, Maddi Hill, Sophia Baker, Stella Geddes and Ava Reid achieving a gold banding while Evie Formann achieved silver.
Lily Griffith, Elsie Sanderson, Eloise Launders, Savannah Campbell, Mia Griffith, Mimi Sheridan, Maleaka Sharpley, Amelia Anscombe and Lexie Martin achieved gold medal bandings in Level 4.
Kate claimed the gold medal overall in Junior Level 5, and Lilah Edmunds claimed silver while Hadley Durrant secured bronze.
Senior Level 5 gymnast Mia Geddes took the gold medal overall, while teammate Ava Willoughby claimed silver.
Level 6 gymnast Ruby Cygan made a clean sweep of her division, claiming gold on all four apparatus and the all-around.
In National Level 7, Mikayla Ferguson scooped the pool as she too won four gold on apparatus and secured the all-around title.
Level 5 and 6 gymnasts are now preparing for the qualification competitions to attend the state championships in August, while Mikayla is finetuning her routines to compete at the Border Challenge event in Queensland on July 23-24.
