No further action will be taken regarding car parking on Little Conadilly Street in Gunnedah.
It follows a report to Gunnedah Shire Council’s Local Traffic Committee which assessed vehicles have as having adequate movement in the area.
The assessment comes after council carried out signage and line marking improvements adjacent the hardware store on Marquis Street. These improvements included reinforced the parking signage by marking out the parking bays and centre line of the road.
At the March meeting of council, a question was raised regarding the interaction of traffic entering the hardware business and that of traffic parking in the street.
A council officer concluded there was sufficient separation between parked vehicles and traffic entering the business and no further action was required.
