The Gunnedah Bulldogs and Boggabri Kangaroos are ready to face off at Kitchener Park in a mouth-watering Group 4 rugby league contest this Saturday, after the fixture was washed out two weeks earlier.
With both first grade teams assured of playing in the finals, the Bulldogs are looking to secure second spot on the ladder while the Kangaroos seek third spot in the last round before the start of the finals series.
An extra incentive for the first grade teams this Saturday will be the Boyde Campbell Cup, named after Boyde Campbell who died tragically in 2017 after previously playing for both clubs.
In reserve grade, the fourth-placed Boggabri will look to find form in the lead-up to an elimination semi-final while the fifth-placed Gunnedah plays for pride, as a top-four place is narrowly out of reach.
Gunnedah’s and Boggabri’s leaguetag teams will also play for pride, with finals out of reach while the Kangaroos remain winless this year.
