Australia Day celebrated in Anzac Park | PHOTOS

Australia Day was celebrated under the shady gums of Anzac Park on Monday morning.

The official Gunnedah festivities started with a combined church service. This was followed by a citizenship ceremony overseen by deputy mayor Kate McGrath and mayor Colleen Fuller OAM.

Australia Day Working Group chair Cr Rob Hooke presided over the awards ceremony component of the event.

Following the formalities, attendees were invited back to the Gunnedah Band Hall for morning tea.
