ON Monday 3 August, Gunnedah Bridge Club hosted a very successful social day with Quirindi Bridge Club.
There were 30 Gunnedah players in attendance, with 12 visiting from Quirindi, and 11 tables of play.

There was an earlier-than-usual start, with morning tea at 10am and some delicious treats provided by members.

After a few rounds of play, lunch was provided.
This was catered for by Gunnedah Red Cross and there was a most attractive and tasty spread to choose from.

A raffle was won by Nancy Martin, with the proceeds being donated to Red Cross.

The Gunnedah Band Hall was a perfect venue and was enhanced with floral arrangements by members Kim Avard and Judy Simpson.

The Gunnedah Bridge Club runs sessions each Monday and Wednesday from 1pm at the Band Hall.
Beginner classes are held when there is sufficient interest and new players are always welcome.
