The Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service has responded to recent incidents across the region.
Around 9.30am on Monday 28 September, a rescue helicopter was called by NSW Ambulance to help a person injured after falling from a horse at Breeza.
A woman aged in her 20s was
treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics and the helicopter’s critical care medical team for pelvic injuries.
She was airlifted to the John Hunter Hospital, Newcastle.
Just two days prior, the service was also called by NSW Ambulance to a motorcycle accident at Curlewis.
The helicopter responded to the incident at 6pm on Saturday 26 September.
A man aged in his 50s was
treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics and the helicopter’s critical care medical team for a leg injury before being airlifted to Tamworth Hospital.
