Last Saturday was the Single par event. The top three placegetters in A grade had a score of +1, with S Carter placing first, L Grosser second and D Whiteman third on a countback.
P Minahan won B grade with +5, and M Pryde was second with +4 while W Stacey was third on a countback with +1. A Eather won C grade with +4, followed by P Smallpiece with +3 and I Simpson with +2.
NTP winners were P Kokegi (A grade), W Fogarty (B grade) and A Rees (C grade) on the 2nd hole, D Whiteman on the 7th, D McGregor on the 12th, R Wettenhall on the 16th. Second shot winners were B Hopkins (A grade), L Ross (B grade) and B Lemon (C grade).
Meanwhile, bad weather affected Tuesday’s ladies golf last week.
The monthly medal was last Thursday. The gross winner was Sally Toppin with a score of 97, and the nett winner was Helen Baker with 83 while the nett runner-up was Coral Lorimer with 84 on a countback.
Sally won the Jean Steele brooch and the Division 1 medal. Coral won the Division 2 medal, and Sophie Carter won Division 3.
NTP winners were Lyn Pollock on the 2nd and Jenny Hughes on the 7th.
Sally, Helen, Coral and Sophie won balls.
