The Boggabri Kangaroos return home this Saturday as they contest the Kootingal-Moonbi Roosters at Jubilee Oval, following a bye in the Group 4 rugby league competition.
The bye came one week after the Kangaroos first graders turned a 20-0 deficit into a 24-20 victory against Gunnedah, while the Roosters went down 42-4 to unbeaten ladder leader Werris Creek.
Boggabri moved from outright fifth to equal-fourth, while Gunnedah slipped from equal-first to outright second.
Kootingal-Moonbi meanwhile remained seventh on the eight-team ladder, having had its fifth defeat in six rounds.
In reserve grade, the Kangaroos find themselves in third place while the Roosters sit equal-last with two other teams.
In leaguetag, Boggabri remains without a win while the Kootingal-Moonbi women look to maintain a top-four spot on the ladder.
