A home has been destroyed by fire in Gunnedah overnight.
The fire occurred about 1am on Thursday at the corner of High Street and Wandobah Road.
Fire and Rescue NSW units from Gunnedah and Boggabri arrived on scene to find the brick home well alight.
Fire crews utilised breathing apparatus while extinguishing the fire.
The structure also suffered a partial roof collapse.
It took firefighters about one hour to bring the fire under control.
A Fire and Rescue NSW spokesperson said the house appeared to be unoccupied at the time of the fire.
The spokesperson said the cause of the fire is under investigation.
The recent incident incident follows a fire last week at another unoccupied property in Gunnedah.
This fire occurred on Mathias Road, adjacent to the Kamilaroi Highway heading towards Boggabri.
The property is believed to have been abandoned for several years.
