About 300 youngsters converged at the Geoff Morgan Soccer Fields last Sunday, for the Gunnedah-based mixed junior gala day.
Visiting teams came from Coonabarabran, Narrabri, Inverell, Quirindi, Kootingal and Timbumburi, while there was a huge number of Gunnedah teams.
The youngest age group was 5/6 while the eldest was 15/16, with the afternoon featuring semi-finals and grand finals.
There were many tight contests and impressive skills across all age groups throughout the day.
Thanks were given to the visiting clubs and local volunteers and committee people, particularly after a flood clean-up in the lead-up.
The Gunnedah and District Soccer Association will host a girls gala day on August 31.
