Karen Urquhart has won one of four family passes to Dubbo’s Taronga Western Plains Zoo.
The tickets were won as part of the North West Magazine competition which encouraged people to write in with their favourite animal.
Ms Urquhart named the giraffe as her favourite.
“I’ve always loved the giraffe,” she said, recalling a small toy version of the animal that was gifted by Pop when she was born.
Check out upcoming editions of the North West Magazine – which is published weekly inside the Gunnedah Times – for more chances to win.
