The Gunnedah Gymnastics Centre’s ‘Bodies in Motion’ performances were received with great enthusiasm, and viewed by more than 1000 people at the Lyle & Griffith Centre.

Gymnasts performed to a packed matinee audience for local and district schools last Thursday, prior to Saturday night’s performance for parents and the wider community.

With almost 100 gymnasts participating, the items presented included poi swinging, skipping, balancing, tumbling, interpretative and recreational items such as mini-tramp activities, dance routines and skills on women’s apparatus.

In the finale, all of the girls joined together in one final burst of light and colour.

Interpretative items were among what was on display at ‘Bodies in Motion’.
