Gunnedah Speedway Club had four winners and a second placegetter in last Saturday night’s race meet at the Narrabri-based Northwest Speedway Club.

The quartet of Matt Cobb, Daniel Cronin, Brad Mulherin and Clinton Hall gained the top podium placing while Charli Cameron earned the runner-up position.

Cobb won the Street Stocker division, two weeks after winning the NSW number one title at the Racing Sedans Australia (RSA) Street Stockers NSW titles in Tamworth.

Cronin took out first place in the Fender Benders, and Mulherin won the Fast 4’s modified.

Hall made it a clean sweep in the Junior All Stars, as he won all of his heats as well as the feature race.

Cameron’s runner-up placing was in the Junior New Stars.

A spokesperson from the Gunnedah Speedway Club said the track was quite wet to begin with following a downpour earlier in the week “but once it dried out, it was a great night of racing”.

Competitors came from Gunnedah, Narrabri, Newcastle, Gilgandra, Dubbo and Portland.
