How time flies when you are having fun, or so they say. Cruze Morley has been flying through his exercises, building strength, preparing both mentally and physically while anticipating what the creator of the course has in store for the competitors in season six of Australian Ninja Warrior.
Cruze Morley aka the ‘Boggy Ninja’ made it through the first session of season five and put Boggabri on the map. He moved into the semi-finals where he fell on the uneven monkey bars and exited the course.
After season five Cruze said, “it was good experience and as the youngest on the course it was a bit of pressure but it has been my dream since I was 14 to have a go at Australian Ninja Warrior and now my dream has come true.”
On December 15, 2021, Cruze passed the fitness test for season six and is now one of the final 150 contestants out of the thousands who applied to compete.
This year the show has allowed 16-year-olds to apply and Cruze said it will be interesting to see how they go.
Cruze has been busy setting up his gym and is grateful for the sponsorship and support he has received and would be happy to receive more.
Apex sports has helped him with new equipment and he has booked into the Gunnedah show and a couple of schools soon to showcase his skills, encourage young people to follow their dream and get fit at the same time.
Young people from Boggabri, Gunnedah and Narrabri are lining up to attend the gym after school and on the weekends.
Recently, tickets for the show were available and Cruze is hoping that there will be a large support network from the local area present on the night he competes. Filming starts now but the results will not be known until the show screens on television in June.
The show films two sessions on the first night with the second session of filming scheduled to begin at 11.40pm and continue through to 4.00am.
Cruze said “hopefully, everyone will still be awake. I have been changing my sleep times to try to adapt to being on top of my game at 3.00am.”
Cruze was one of the most popular contestants last season and one thing for sure he has a massive following and has placed himself and Boggabri on the national map.
Good luck Cruze, we are all looking forward to watching and cheering for the ‘Boggy Ninja’.
