Ray White Fleming and Ross Gunnedah is leading the way in flexible working arrangements for busy working mums.
Staff members Bobbie Insch and Jess Richard balance work and home life but say their needs are always a top priority for the residential, rural and livestock sales agency.
“It’s very family-orientated, very flexible,” Bobbie said.
With two young children, aged four and two, Bobbie was reassured knowing she had the option of working from home if needed.
“They have been great and made it that little bit easier to be a working mum,” she said.
“If something happens, I can just pop out and get the kids.
“We also have many opportunities for training on a regular basis for career advancement.”
The sales manager has worked for other employers where work arrangements were less flexible. But with almost eight years’ service at Ray White Gunnedah, Bobbie is looking forward to many more years to come in the role.
Property manager Jess, who has a teenage son, also felt well supported in her work and family commitments.
“It’s wonderful to have such a flexible employer,” she said.
“It means a lot less stress on us.
Jess said they appreciate the valuable contribution women have in the Gunnedah business community.
Ray White director and principal selling agent, Tim Walsh, said Bobbie and Jess were great assets to the Gunnedah team.
“They are fantastic and very good at their jobs,” he said.
“Traditionally we’re not a 9-5 job, so when we get people who are good at what they do, we make it work for them.”
