Gunnedah netball representative players had the opportunity to meet three Olympians at the inaugural Primary School Games in Tamworth recently.
Visiting were Dominic Clarke (Tokyo – gymnastics), water polo player Keesja Gofers (Rio and Tokyo Olympics) and Jessica Pickering (gymnastics – Tokyo).
They were watching sports and inspiring youngsters to stay involved in sport, have fun and work towards their goals. The Olympians were also there to promote the ‘Have a Go’ campaign.
