More than 240 competitors converged on the Gunnedah PCYC for the recent interclub competition hosted by Gunnedah Physical Culture Club.

Competing over two days, ladies and senior groups took the floor on the Saturday with the competition for juniors held the following day.

Many clubs travelled quite a distance to compete against competitors from Lachlan Valley (Forbes), Towarri (Scone), Coonabarabran, Moree, Dubbo City and Liverpool Plains.

The club then travelled to Muswellbrook last Saturday and Sunday to compete at Muswelbrook’s interclub meeting celebrating 27 years of physie in the town.

“With 10 clubs attending and more than 440 competitors,  the competition was tough but Gunnedah shone through with many girls and women placing and spectacular physie on show through out the whole weekend,” spokesperson Sam Hubbard said.
