Gunnedah and District Bulldogs AFC junior pups continued their gala day season at the weekend, as their 2023 fortnightly fixture took them to Inverell last Sunday.
In continuation of their round robin under 8, 10 and 12 age group non-competitive matches – much enthusiasm has enveloped through the introduction and development of youth in AFL North West since the gala day concept has been introduced by the AFL North West.
Gunnedah Bullpups are set to host their scheduled gala day on June 18 and will be highly represented by close to 100 juniors on the day with clubs in the AFL North West from Gunnedah, Tamworth, Inverell, Armidale and the junior system of Glen Innes.
Youngsters between the ages of 5-12 years have played fortnightly in each sector of the AFL North West region, following the senior club representation of Tamworth, Gunnedah, Inverell and Armidale.
It is representational of the future of AFL in the region, where club co-ordinators continue to grow AFL, continuing the upward trend of participation through AFL in the northern country regions of NSW and eastern states of Australia.To order photos from this page click here
