Excitement is growing for the annual community Christmas Fair this Saturday again hosted by Gunnedah MS.
The doors open at 8am in the Griffiths Pavilion at Gunnedah Showground and Santa is expected around 10.30am.
Gunnedah MS publicity officer, Megan Kelly, said there is sure to be something for everyone with more than 30 local stalls expected at the fair offering plants, leather goods, spices, homewares, chickens and more on offer with a barbecue breakfast and coffee available.
“The lucky shopper prize and raffles will also be held and all money raised stays in Gunnedah to help people with MS,” Megan said.
“The Christmas Fair is one of several fundraising initiatives by Gunnedah MS, including a charity fashion showcase which is well regarded by the local community.”
Last year’s MS Christmas Fair was a great success with stallholders gathering in the Griffith pavilion displaying their wares with everything from craft to tasty treats, black garlic to Christmas craft and Santa Claus was a big hit with the little ones as he strolled around handing out lollipops from his bag.
Members of the community can contact Rhonda Smith to host their own stall on Saturday.
Gunnedah MS is a registered and incorporated charity raising funds to help people in the Gunnedah and Boggabri area living with Multiple Sclerosis.
