Emergency services responded to a structural fire at a storage unit complex on Little Barber Street, Gunnedah, about 4am Wednesday. Firefighters arrived to find flames through the roof of the property but were able to contain the fire to the first three storage units on the western side. Gunnedah Fire and Rescue thanked those assisting including Boggabri Fire and Rescue, the rural fire service, energy assets, police and ambulance. No injuries were reported. Police remained on scene early Wednesday answering enquiries from persons with property inside the building. The cause of the fire was unknown.
