The Gunnedah Show Society has announced the start of the highly anticipated 2024 Show Representative Competition.
With excitement in the air and spirits soaring high, the association has invited individuals of all ages to step into the spotlight and showcase their talents, passion, and dedication to the Gunnedah Show.
This prestigious competition features four sections, each offering a unique opportunity for participants to shine:
• Tiny Tot Gunnedah Show Representative: Open to all entrants aged 5-9 years old.
• Young Gunnedah Show Representative: Welcoming all entrants aged 10-14 years old.
• Junior Showgirl: Calling all young ladies aged 15-17 years old.
• Gunnedah Young Woman: Inviting talented young ladies aged 18-26 years old.
Aspiring competitors will have the chance to demonstrate their skills in various categories tailored to their age group, including communication skill development, community involvement, and show movement awareness. Beyond the thrill of competition, this event fosters personal growth, leadership qualities, and the formation of lifelong friendships.
The pinnacle of this journey awaits the Gunnedah Young Woman, who will represent the community at the Zone 4 finals early next year.
There she will vie for the coveted sash, aiming to represent both Gunnedah and Zone 4 at the prestigious Sydney Royal Easter Show.
This platform not only showcases agricultural excellence but also highlights the remarkable talents and achievements of local youth on a state-wide stage.
