Star struck country music fans in Gunnedah were treated to a sensational performance by Adam Harvey and Beccy Cole at Club Gunnedah last Friday night.
The performance formed part of their ‘Great Country Songbook Volume 3’ regional tour.
The world acclaimed country music artists spun tales of old and new about their music careers and personal lives for the Gunnedah crowd.
It also included signature Harvey tracks such ‘The house that jack built’ and Cole’s ‘Broken Soldiers’.
The country musicians looked at ease bouncing around jokes and making sure the Gunnedah audience enjoyed the night out.
Supporting acts at Club Gunnedah included solo artist and newly awarded two-time Golden Guitar winner, Duncan Toombs.
Poetic storytelling about his own triumphs and challenges in life was compelling listening.
Tracks such as ‘Steel on Steel’ and ‘The gift’ provided great insight into the musician’s journey so far and the important role of family.
