Emerald Hill CWA is gearing up for another busy program of activities following its annual general meeting on October 8 . Those in attendance at the meeting included newly elected office bearers and branch members including Nicola Plevey, Ali Chaffey, Jenny Darley (vice president), Shirley Urquhart (president), Jo McCalman (treasurer), Robyn Blake visiting from Willala, Margaret Grahame and Lyn Pine (secretary).

The CWA branch is excited to continue to work together to support local charities and organise friendly, interesting community functions.

As a new committee, its first function will be to host an evening with Heather Ewart of ABC ‘Back Roads’ fame where she will be promoting her newly released book.

Anyone in the community is invited to join the CWA branch on the second Tuesday of each month at Emerald Hill Hall.
