St Mary’s College Gunnedah has continued its winning streak in the agriculture world as it has brought home another title.

The team was in Scone to compete in the Upper Hunter Beef Bonanza.

It won the meat judging Champion Team Retail and Primal Identification (for the seventh time) and Champion Overall Team (for the sixth time) along with a few individual prizes.

It was the third consecutive time that St Mary’s has won the Champion Overall Team.

The total awards were collected in two years through seven Australian Intercollegiate Meat Judging Association competitions in Queensland and NSW.

Many of the original team has completed Year 12 in recent months.

“It has been a very dedicated team and enjoyable experience to bring home awards from another championship,” St Mary’s College primary industries teacher and coach Lachlan James said.
