Live Inspire Lead will bring together inspirational guest speakers from across the country to Gunnedah for a series of unique presentations to assist in business and everyday life.
The event later this month will be set across the cultural precinct of Gunnedah and will be themed for a garden party.
The talents of local business will be on display, providing an afternoon of terrific food and wine and an opportunity for people to relax, connect and be inspired.
Gunnedah’s event presenter and host, Magdalena Rose, is a television presenter, journalist, meteorologist, food writer and host of the podcast ‘Oomite’.
Magdalena and her husband Darren now reside in Byron Bay and own and operate the successful, Three Blue Ducks, at The Farm, Byron Bay, as well as four other locations.
Event keynote speaker, Samantha Bloom, is a three-time world para surfing champion, bestselling-author and inspiration behind the #1 Australian box-office, and international global Netflix hit movie, Penguin Bloom starring Naomi Watts.
Paralysed in an accident in Thailand in 2013, Sam has since won two Oceania KL1 paracanoe championships, and is the two-time Australian, three-time Hawaiian and World Para Surfing champion. In 2019, Sam was nominated for the Surfing Australia Female Surfer of the Year Award, and in 2022 was awarded the Surfing Australia Female Para Surfer of the Year.
Sam works with numerous spinal cord injury charities around the world and is a global ambassador for Wings For Life. She is an adventure traveller, ambassador for Tourism Australia and a former neurology nurse and mother of three boys.
Fellow event guest speaker Cameron Bloom is an award-winning photographer and cinematographer who started his career at the age of 15. Since then his editorial and travel images have been published extensively, including in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and The New York Times.
Another event guest speaker is Kaitie Nash – a first time farmer and Instagram influencer.
Kaitie shares her story of embracing rural living and redefining failure as a stepping stone to success. With humour, vulnerability and practical wisdom, Kaitie takes people on a journey from city streets to red dirt roads, highlighting the challenges, triumphs and lessons learned along the way.
Performer Sam Snape is an Australian Idol finalist, local legend and solo acoustic artist who is joining the line up to create the Live Inspire Lead vibe and turn your afternoon into an even more amazing experience.
Having started in 2014 with a ‘Women in Business’ focus, Live Inspire events recently expanded to teens and youth to support them in the ever-changing world, ensuring great leaders of tomorrow and a future generation of achievers.
To complement this, Live Inspire will also host a school-based event in Gunnedah later this month.
These events bring the opportunity to connect with like-minded people, share experiences and thought-provoking ideas, as well as being inspired by some of the most outstanding speakers our country has on offer.
The Live Inspire Long Lunch Event will be held on Saturday, November 23 at the Gunnedah Town Hall, starting 12pm, including live entertainment and presentation by Sam Bloom.
