Mullaley Public School celebrated 2024 coming to a close with a presentation to acknowledge the work of its students at the end of last year.
Relieving principal Elizabeth Bell welcomed parents, grandparents, friends of the school, old students and community members to the celebration.
“Each of our students has shown immense growth in their own way, and we are so proud of the effort they’ve shown in the classroom, in terms of their own personal development, on the sports field, in creative arts, and as part of the broader community,” she said.
“We have had a wonderful year at Mullaley, with excellent learning taking place in class and with students and community who continue to impress us with their dedication to ensuring that our children here become citizens who will continue to uphold themselves with pride, confidence, kindness, a lifelong love of learning and all of the other traits that we see in our past Mullaley students who are doing fantastic things out in the big wide world.”
Tom Bell was announced the 2024 Dux of Mullaley Public School while Emily Adams secured the Infant Cup Award.
