The NSW SES is warning residents and visitors in Tamworth and its surrounds about ongoing minor flooding in the area.
On Monday evening, the Bureau of Meteorology advised the Peel River at Tamworth Bridge was at 3.01 metres and rising, just above the minor flood level.
Minor flooding was expected to continue into Wednesday in areas such as Wallamore Road, O’Briens Lane Nemingha, Whitehouse Lane, Davidson Lane and the Duri Dungowan Road, among other locations.
