A woman suffering a serious medical episode was airlifted from Gunnedah on Monday night.
At about 6.30pm, a Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance to a person who had suffered a serious medical episode in Gunnedah.
A rescue helicopter spokesperson said as a result of road closures due to flooding, the woman in her 50s was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics and the helicopter’s critical care medical team at a private airfield before being airlifted to Tamworth Base Hospital.
