More than 45 soccer teams ranging from U5s to U16s are set to descend on Geoff Morgan Playing Fields this Sunday, as Gunnedah hosts a mixed junior gala day.
Teams from Quirindi, Narrabri, Kootingal, Inverell and Coonabarabran are expected to take to the fields along with teams from the host club.
Another working bee is scheduled at the venue this Saturday, following a couple of hours of work from volunteers last Sunday morning.
Almost 40 people turned up last Sunday to remove debris from the fences, following recent flooding.
Tasks this Saturday will include mowing, painting lines, and setting up fields and temporary goals for the following day.
