Eliza Perkins, who attended St Xavier’s Primary School and then St Mary’s College (with years 11 and 12 involving travel to Sydney every second week for three days as part of her training for the Netball NSW State Squads), has completed her Bachelor of Law with 1st Class Honours. Eliza was also awarded the University Medal for Academic Scholarship.

Eliza completed her honours on the Incidence of Domestic Violence in Regional and Remote Australia and has a strong interest in Human Rights Law.

She has secured a full-time position working for the government that allows flexibility for her semi-professional netball career in the NSW Premier League Opens Competition.

Eliza is very thankful to the support provided by her teachers during her education in Gunnedah that set the foundations for this achievement.
