The Gunnedah-based Balcary Park will attract local and international motorbike riders this weekend, as the final two rounds of the Aussie Flat Track Nationals (AFTN) take place.

Hundreds of points will be up for grabs, following plenty of intense racing in the first five rounds.

The first two rounds were held in Maryborough in late July, and then the following two rounds took place in Albury four weeks later before the most recent round was at Griffith on October 11.

After winning last year’s Pro 450 title, West Wyalong rider Tom Herrick enters this weekend in second place on 934 points.

Tom Armstrong is currently in the lead with 1044 points while Gunnedah’s Daniel Wicks is third with 889.
