Gunnedah Day VIEW Club members celebrated their last meeting for the year with a Christmas theme.
Attended by 44 VIEW members with visitors from Coonabarabran, Manilla, Tamworth Day, Peel Evening VIEW Clubs and Raelee Bruce from Gunnedah Evening, the function was held at Gunnedah Rugby Park.
Entertainer Elaine Holden from Woy Woy had the members ‘bopping and swinging’ to her lively vocals, with Trish Conway later offering a vote of thanks.
National Councillor Aletia Norman presented an interesting talk from the National minutes talking about membership and increases in fees next year.
Members congratulated Aletia Norman and said a sad good as she finishes her role as National Councillor this year.
Zone Councillor Leeanne Stubbs also spoke, advising members on next year’s changes and events.
Anne Finnegan made and decorated the beautiful Christmas cake, which was enjoyed by all.
A vote of thanks was extended to generous local business houses for the donation of prizes for raffles during the year along with competition donors each month.
All money raised goes towards supporting the education of six Learning For Life students through The Smith Family charity.
